Saling Cruise 2:  Fethiye – Göcek – Kas

(or in reverse order)

Day 1:

Arrival and embarkation on the yacht in Fethiye. At the welcome cocktails you will meet the crew and your fellow travellers. In Fethiye you can take a walk to the Lycian rock tombs or to the ancient city of Telmessos. Overnight stay in the harbour at Fethiye.

Day 2:

Cast off after breakfast! We will head to the World of the 12 Islands in Göcek Bay. Here we have the chance to unwind in countless bays in fantastic locations. Enjoy a relaxing swim or snorkel and forget about your everyday stresses back home. Then we will visit Tersane Island and after this you can admire the magical scenery of Cleopatra’s Bath (Batikhammam). We will also spend the night here.

Day 3:

After breakfast we will sail to Bedri Rahmi Bay, where you can admire a rock painting left behind by a Turkish artist. There are also a few small rock tombs to admire. Then we will travel on further to Yassicalar Island near Göcek.  We will spend the night in one of the wonderful coves.

Day 4:

After breakfast we will travel to the harbour at Göcek, where you can spend the morning visiting the little town with its pretty alleyways and umpteen little shops and boutiques. After lunch we will be off to a cove, which is ideal for swimming, snorkelling or just lazing around. In the afternoon we will travel to the natural harbour at Aga, where you can take a small walking excursion. The enchanting cove will also be the backdrop for the evening meal and the rest of the night.

Day 5:

Cast off after breakfast! We will visit the dream beach of Ölüdeniz, which you will find on nearly every postcard of Turkey. You will find out that the photos just do not do the beach justice in reality. One of the options here is to go paragliding to enjoy the unique panorama. This involves first of all taking a jeep up the 1,969 metre high mountain of Babadağı, where you will then receive detailed instructions, before taking to the air to enjoy the fascinating view with an experienced pilot on a tandem flight lasting 30-40 minutes. We will then anchor by Gemiler Island for a coffee break. On the island there are various ruins of a medieval town, which you can explore by yourself. The most impressive ruins are four large churches and a walkway linking the East Church with the Church of St. Nicholas, which is hewn into the side of the hill.  You can clearly recognise graves, water reservoirs and storage buildings grouped together next to the houses. Most of the buildings have been dated to the 5th-6th Century AD. In the bay you’ll have another opportunity to try out different water sports.

Day 6:

Today Captain Mustafa will start the engine before sunrise and will take you south for a longer trip to the large natural aquarium in the bay at Kalkan. There you will have plenty of time for breakfast and relaxing swimming and snorkelling breaks. After lunch we will explore some different bays and we will then anchor for the night in Limanagzi Bay with a fantastic view of the harbour at Kaş.

Day 7:

Today we will again visit some pretty coves, which are great for swimming, including Ufakdere Bay with its water, which is as clear as glass. After lunch you will arrive at the harbour in Kaş. This picturesque little town, with the Greek island of Kastellorizo just off the coast, is particularly popular with fans of diving and sailors from around the world. The bay and especially the reef, the underwater caves and the shipwrecks in its crystal-clear waters were all considered real insider tips for many years. Kaş is still safe from all-inclusive hotels and is seen as a best-kept secret, especially for backpackers. You will have the whole afternoon free here. You will have enough time to explore the picturesque alleyways and we will also spend the night here.

Day 8:

A last breakfast on board, before saying farewell to the Crew. Transfer to Dalaman airport.

We reserve the right to make changes to the route if there are unfavourable weather conditions. This will be decided by the Captain locally and is solely for the safety of our guests.
