Sailing Cruise : Fethiye - Marmaris - Fethiye

 

Day 1:

Arrival and embarkation on the yacht in Fethiye. At the welcome cocktails you will meet the crew and your fellow travellers. In Fethiye you can take a walk to the Lycian rock tombs or to the ancient city of Telmessos. Overnight stay in the harbour at Fethiye. 

Day 2:

Cast off after breakfast! We’ll head to the World of the 12 Islands in Göcek Bay. Here we have the chance to unwind in countless bays in fantastic locations. Enjoy a relaxing swim or snorkel and forget about your everyday stresses back home. Then we will visit Tersane Island and after this you can admire the magical scenery of Cleopatra’s Bath (Batikhammam). We will also spend the night here. 

Day 3:

After breakfast trip to a cove, which is ideal for swimming, snorkelling or just lazing around. After lunch we will travel to the natural harbour at Aga, where you can take a small walking excursion. The enchanting cove will also be the backdrop for the evening. 

Day 4:

You get an early start for Ekincik, an inlet close to the mouth of the Dalyan River. From here you can opt to take a day trip to Dalyan (+/- 35€ per person) where you have the opportunity to take excursion boat rides to visit the ancient city of Kaunos, the Lycian Rock Tombs or the famous mud baths, which are said to have rejuvenating powers. Upriver, along the reed-lined banks, you can soon discern the rock tombs that date back to the ancient Carians.

Day 5:

After breakfast, we head out in the direction of Marmaris. You have the opportunity to swim in the Bay of Turunc. In the afternoon you will have enough time for visiting Marmaris with its old bazar and the castle near to the harbour. We will finish off the rest of the day in one of the numerous coves outside of Marmaris.

Day 6:

After breakfast, we set sail back for the 12 Islands of Göcek. We will stop at the Bay of Bedri-Rahmi, where you can marvel at a rock painting compliments of a Turkish artist. Here too, are a few small rock tombs to admire. Following this, we will continue into one of the numerous inlets close to Göcek. We will spend the night in one of these magnificent coves. 

Day 7:

After a swimming stop during the morning, we will return to the harbour at Fethiye after lunch. If you wish, right after breakfast you can go on an excursion to Saklikent Gorge as well as Tlos (+/- 35 € p.p.). Back in Fethiye one possibility for the programme would be to visit the Turkish baths. A visit to a Turkish barber is an absolute must for the men.

Day 8:

A last breakfast on board, before saying farewell to the Crew. Transfer to Dalaman airport.
