Sailing Cruise 2: Fethiye – Göcek – Dalyan – Marmaris
(or in reverse order)
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation on the yacht in Fethiye. You will get to meet your crew and fellow passengers while enjoying a welcome cocktail. In Fethiye, you can take a walk to the Lycian Rock Tombs or to the ancient Telmessos Theater. Overnight in the port of Fethiye.
Day 2:
After breakfast, anchors aweigh! We sail into the 12-island world of the Bay of Göcek. Here we have the opportunity to let our spirits soar in numerous spectacularly beautiful coves. Relax while swimming and snorkeling and enjoy time far away from the stresses at home. To start with, we will visit Tersane Island and afterwards, you can marvel at the magical scenery of Cleopatra’s Bath (on Batikhammam), we will also spend the night here.
Day 3:
After breakfast, we set sail for the Bay of Bedri-Rahmi, where you can marvel at a rock painting compliments of a Turkish artist. Here too, are a few small rock tombs to admire. Following this, we will continue into one of the numerous inlets close to Göcek. We will spend the night in one of these magnificent coves.
Day 4:
After breakfast we will travel to a bathing cove suitable for swimming, snorkeling and relaxing. After lunch, we will sail into the natural harbor of Aga, where you have the opportunity to go for a short island hike. The captivating bay supplies the backdrop for dinner.
Day 5:
You get an early start for Ekincik, an inlet close to the mouth of the Dalyan River. From here you can opt to take a day trip to Dalyan (+/- 35€ per person) where you have the opportunity to take excursion boat rides to visit the ancient city of Kaunos, the Lycian Rock Tombs or the famous mud baths, which are said to have rejuvenating powers. Upriver, along the reed-lined banks, you can soon discern the rock tombs that date back to the ancient Carians.
Day 6:
After breakfast, we head out in the direction of Marmaris. You have the opportunity to swim in the Bay of Turunc. We will finish off the rest of the day in one of the numerous coves outside of Marmaris.
Day 7:
The so-called “Paradise Island” (Cennet Adasi) is our last stop to get in an extended swim before we sail into the Port of Marmaris around early afternoon. Here, on your final evening, you will have the opportunity to explore the nightlife of Marmaris and buy last-minute keepsakes to take home with you.
Day 8:
A final breakfast on board before the crew takes their farewell. Transfer to Dalaman airport.
